iMPACT HORSEVISION
Impact Horse aims to offer traveling equine assisted learning visits with our two miniature horses named “Toast and CinABun” to nursing homes, hospitals, specialty healthcare providers, and rehabilitation centers.
Organization Values
Impact Horse, its representatives, and volunteers are to remain professional, kind, informative, and inspirational as a dedicated organization operating under the division of the Pony Party Bus that values our excellent reputation and our client’s happiness. Impact Horse has a credible following with proven client success, which include: improved overall mental health, including an improved outlook on life via their mood, expression, optimism, and the fact that it embraces socialization. Physical benefits of equine assisted learning include muscle strengthening, increased dexterity, coordination, and balance when interacting with the miniature horses of Impact Horse. |
IMPACT HORSEMISSION
Impact Horse will help facilitate our goal by making it our mission to connect with patients in need of equine assisted learning by visiting them at the nursing home, hospital, specialty care providers office, a rehabilitation center, or in the comfort of their own home.
Our miniature horses are trained specifically to visit indoors and have been trained to tell their handler by lifting their tail up for when they must use the restroom outside. Our miniature horses are therapy-trained and certified. They have gone through an intense certification process and have been acclimated to wheelchairs, walkers, and other medical equipment. Impact Horse desires to promote accessibility to this specialized animal assisted learning modality. Impact Horse aims to promote the numerous benefits of equine assisted and affiliated learning to patients, healthcare providers, and the family members of the client we are visiting. |
